This is the best ALS Bucket Challenge I’ve seen so far.

what had me cracking up was the way the mask deflated at the end

how I leave uncomfortable situations

Do you ever want to talk to someone but

1) You feel like you’re bothering them or coming off clingy
2) You don’t have anything to say, you just want to talk to them
3) You don’t know how to hold a conversation to save your life

others drink, and others fall in love,
each one dies from a different way."

"If someone were to die at the age of 63 after a lifelong battle with MS or Sickle Cell, we’d all say they were a “fighter” or an “inspiration.” But when someone dies after a lifelong battle with severe mental illness and drug addiction, we say it was a tragedy and tell everyone “don’t be like him, please seek help.” That’s bullshit. Robin Williams sought help his entire life. He saw a psychiatrist. He quit drinking. He went to rehab. He did this for decades. That’s HOW he made it to 63. For some people, 63 is a fucking miracle. I know several people who didn’t make it past 23 and I’d do anything to have 40 more years with them."

One of the more helpful and insightful things I’ve seen about depression/suicide in the last couple of days.

"Don’t be discouraged by a failure. It can be a positive experience. Failure is, in a sense, the highway to success, inasmuch as every discovery of what is false leads us to seek earnestly after what is true, and every fresh experience points out some form of error which we shall afterwards carefully avoid."

Went through some old photos from last spring tonight. As I scrolled through the shots It made me so grateful for the friends I have and the wonderful adventures we go on together. This photo-set means a lot to me. Hopefully it inspires close friends to travel, love, sing, breathe, laugh, hike, run, swing, and experience the beautiful world we live in together.
